Born in 1975 in Elazig, Sinan completed his primary and secondary education in Istanbul. He received his undergraduate degree in Political Science and Public Administration from Middle East Technical University and his master’s degree in Cinema and Television at Beykent University Social Sciences Institute.
He started his professional career in journalism. He wrote a column for the Milliyet Newspaper, covering television and cinema criticismHe continues to work as a screenwriter, director and producer in the film industry, which he started after journalism.He teaches on subjects such as screenplay, storytelling and project design.
He worked as the general secretary of the Script Writers Association (SENDER). He was a member of the Cinema Council, Cinema Films Evaluation and Classification Board, Television and Cinema Producers Professional Association (TESİYAP). He is still a member of SINEBIR (Collecting Society of Authors).
